Meet the Team

Michael and Aileen O' Neill
Michael and Aileen are passionate about their home, Lickbarrahan and have always embraced their rural marine  lifestyle. Michael is an expert in the seafood industry having fished local and international waters for over 15 years. Michael and Aileen manage Irish Altantic Sea Salt together and oversee all production, sales, finance, marketing, research and development. Constantly keeping the whole crew in ship shape, Michael and Aileen are a busy pair. When they aren't chasing orders, making phone calls, answering queries and generally solving problems at Irish Atlantic Salt, they're keeping all at Lickbarrahan happy: Conor (15) , Derbhain (13), Caoimhe (10) and Aisling (8).

Martin O'Sullivan
Martin joined the Irish Atlantic Salt team in 2011 and is responsible for Quality Control and Management of the production process. Martin, like the rest of the team, is ridiculously passionate about salt and treats his sea salt flakes with tender love and care. Born and bred on the Beara Peninsula, Martin knows all there is to know about the ruggedly beautiful area.

Jo-Anne Higgins
Jo-Anne takes care of the Marketing and Sales for Irish Atlantic Salt. Although she wasn’t a salt fanatic when joining the team, she has since been converted. Jo-Anne is also from West Cork and loves the local area. She writes the Irish Atlantic Salt blog, Life with a pinch of sea salt. Visit the blog.
